Nickent
Golf Breaks Through on
Tour with New Products
No Longer Just the King of Hybrids™

The future is looking brighter for Nickent
Golf. Hybrid sales are booming, the company's contract
players are more visible with each passing week and now
Nickent's "other" products are showing up in the
bags of some of the world's best players. It may be
safe to say that Nickent is no longer just the King of Hybrids™.
Slowly but surely, Nickent is turning itself into
a major brand.
This week, on the PGA Tour at the Zurich Classic of New
Orleans, the event where Nickent won their first ever PGA
Tour event in 2005, Nickent had three Top 10 finishes (2nd
Place (34th Fed Ex Cup), 5th Place (16th FedEx Cup) and
8th Place (79th FedEx Cup).
One of the first steps for Nickent to get to this point
was the hiring of master designer John Hoeflich as their
Senior Vice President, who has now designed almost the entire
2007 Nickent product line. The next step was capitalizing
on their loyal following among professional players.
In New Orleans, 5 players carried the bright green
and yellow Nickent staff bag, more than some of their
better known and much larger rivals. Nickent also recently
announced the signing 16 players on the Nationwide Tour,
making their professional staff one of the largest on the
Nationwide Tour. New products of every type
are being put into play, including the 4DX Driver, 3DX Pro fairway,
3DX Pro Irons and the new ARC Wedges.
"Drivers and irons are especially hard to get into
play on the PGA Tours," said Josh Trivett, Director
of Tour Operations for Nickent. "Almost all contracts
cover these clubs and there is a lot of money floating around
to try and secure them. To see our products so readily accepted
by the best players in the world has made me very proud.
We had our first driver ever put into play in Georgia, and
it ended up helping the player to finish 3rd in driving
accuracy. I can't ask for much more out of our product!"
The release of the 4DX Ironwood and Utility last week will
only bolster their efforts. Nickent is calling these their
best hybrids ever, and over 35% of their players have switched
to 4DX after only being available for a few weeks. With
the 4DX, Nickent developed the first hybrid to utilize
a patented brazing technology that fuses a titanium crown
with a steel body; all while making the crown the thinnest
it has ever been on a golf club head. It has already
scored two Top 5 finishes in the hands of the PGA Tour's
leader in driving distance, who has been seen hitting his
14-degree well over 300 yards!
With tour validation of their entire line, a slew of young
and talented staff players and a new line of hybrids to
help spread the buzz, Nickent is enjoying the transitional
year they have patiently been waiting for. They may not
be changing the King of Hybrids tag line just yet, but the
writing is on the wall.
